Guest Speaker: Lina Romasanta,
CHE Culinary Instructor California Culinary Academy San Francisco

Ms. Lina Romasanta graduated with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Hotel and Restaurant
Administration from the University of the Philippines and received a post-graduate
diploma
from the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in Salzburg, Austria.
With industry
experience spanning over 30 years, Lina has worked in Europe, Asia and
the United States
in different management capacities. She also founded and managed a renowned
Italian
Restaurant that she owned in the Philippines .
She is currently teaching at the California Culinary
Academy . She also initiated the Slow
Food Campus Convivium for the academy introducing the tenets of Slow Food
to the next
generation of chefs. Her love of travel and of different cultural and
gastronomic adventures
prompted her to start conducting her own culinary tours of Tuscany in
Italy.
